ὅτι δὲ εἶδος κεστρέων οἱ νήστεις Ἄρχιππος Ἡρακλεῖ γαμοῦντί φησιν· νήστεις κεστρέας, κεφάλους. Ἀντιφάνης Λάμπωνι· κεστρεῖς ἔχων, ἀλλʼ οὐ στρατιώτας τυγχάνεις νήστεις. Ἄλεξις Φρυγί· ἐγὼ δὲ κεστρεὺς νῆστις οἴκαδʼ ἀποτρέχω. Ἀμειψίας Ἀποκοτταβίζουσιν· ἐγὼ δʼ ἰὼν πειράσομαι εἰς τὴν ἀγορὰν ἔργον λαβεῖν· ἧττόν γʼ ἂν οὖν νῆστις καθάπερ κεστρεὺς ἀκολουθήσεις ἐμοί. Εὔφρων Αἰσχρᾷ· Μίδας δὲ κεστρεύς ἐστι· νῆστις περιπατεῖ. Φιλήμων Συναποθνῄσκουσιν· ἠγόρασα νῆστιν κεστρέʼ ὀπτὸν οὐ μέγαν. CTS URN Retriever

The Digital Athenaeus is providing the text of the Teubner edition of the Deipnosophists by Georg Kaibel (1887-1890), which is cataloged as perseus-grc2 in the Perseus Catalog.

The syntax of the URNs follows the specification of the CITE Architecture.
