ΤΕΥΘΙΣ. Ἀριστοτέλης εἶναί φησι καὶ ταύτην τῶν συναγελαζομένων ἔχειν τε τὰ πλεῖστα τῆς σηπίας, τὸν τῶν ποδῶν ἀριθμόν, τὰς προβοσκίδας. τῶν δὲ ταύτης ποδῶν οἱ μὲν κάτω μικροί εἰσιν, οἱ δʼ ἄνω μείζους· καὶ τῶν προβοσκίδων δεξιὰ παχυτέρα, καὶ τὸ ὅλον σωμάτιον τρυφερὸν καὶ ὑπομηκέστερον. ἔχει δὲ καὶ θολὸν ἐν τῇ μύτιδι οὐ μέλανα ἀλλʼ ὠχρόν· καὶ τὸ ὄστρακον μικρὸν λίαν καὶ χονδρῶδες. ΤΕΥΘΟΣ. δὲ τεῦθος μόνῳ τούτῳ διαφέρει, τῷ μεγέθει· γίνεται δὲ καὶ τριῶν σπιθαμῶν. τὸ δὲ χρῶμά ἐστιν ὑπέρυθρος καὶ τῶν ὀδόντων τὸν μὲν κάτω ἐλάττονα ἔχει, τὸν δὲ ἄνω μείζονα, ἄμφω δὲ μέλανας καὶ ὁμοίους ῥύγχει ἱέρακος. ἀναπτυχθεὶς δὲ κοιλίαν ἔχει ὁμοίαν ταῖς ὑείαις. ἐν δὲ εʹ μορίων βραχύβιά φησιν εἶναι τὸν τεῦθον καὶ τὴν σηπίαν. Ἀρχέστρατος δʼ πᾶσαν γῆν καὶ θάλασσαν διὰ γαστριμαργίαν περιελθών πλεύσας φησι· τευθίδες ἐν Δίῳ τῷ Πιερικῷ παρὰ χεῦμα Βαφύρα· καὶ ἐν Ἀμβρακίᾳ παμπληθέας ὄψει. Ἄλεξις δὲ ἐν Ἐρετρικῷ τάδε ποιεῖ λέγοντα μάγειρον· τευθίδες, σπίναι, βατίς, δῆμος, ἀφύαι, κρεᾴδιʼ, ἐντερίδια· ἀλλὰ τὰς μὲν τευθίδας, τὰ πτερύγιʼ αὐτῶν συντεμών, στεατίου μικρὸν παραμίξας, περιπάσας ἡδύσμασι λεπτοῖσι χλωροῖς ὠνθύλευσα. καὶ πέμμα δέ τι τευθίδα ὀνομάζειν Ἰατροκλέα ἐν Ἀρτοποιικῷ φησι Πάμφιλος.

The syntax of the URNs follows the specification of the CITE Architecture.
