ΣΚΟΡΠΙΟΣ. Διοκλῆς ἐν πρώτῳ τῶν πρὸς Πλείσταρχον Ὑγιεινῶν τῶν μὲν νεαρῶν φησιν ἰχθύων ξηροτέρους εἶναι τὰς σάρκας σκορπίους, κόκκυγας, ψήττας, σαργούς, τραχούρους, τὰς δὲ τρίγλας ἧττον τούτων ξηροσάρκους. οἱ γὰρ πετραῖοι μαλακοσαρκότεροί εἰσιν. Ἱκέσιος δέ φησι· τῶν σκορπίων μέν ἐστι πελάγιος, δὲ τεναγώδης. καὶ μὲν πελάγιος πυρρός, δʼ ἕτερος μελανίζων. διαφέρει δὲ τῇ γεύσει καὶ τῷ τροφίμῳ πελάγιος. εἰσὶ δὲ οἱ σκορπίοι σμηκτικοί, εὐέκκριτοι, πολύχυλοι, πολύτροφοι. χονδρώδεις γάρ εἰσι. τίκτει δʼ σκορπίος δίς, ὥς φησιν Ἀριστοτέλης ἐν πέμπτῳ ζῴων μορίων. Νουμήνιος δʼ ἐν Ἁλιευτικῷ· φυκίδας ἀλφηστήν τε καὶ ἐν χροιῇσιν ἐρυθρὸν σκορπίον πέρκαισι καθηγητὴν μελάνουρον. ὅτι δὲ καὶ πληκτικός ἐστιν Ἀριστοτέλης ἱστορεῖ ἐν τῷ περὶ ἰχθύων ζωικῶν. Ἐπίχαρμος δʼ ἐν Μούσαις ποικίλον εἶναί φησι τὸν σκορπίον· σκορπίοι τε ποικίλοι γλαῦκοί τε, σαῦροι πίονες. μονήρης δʼ ἐστὶ καὶ φυκοφάγος. ἐν δὲ πέμπτῳ ζῴων μορίων Ἀριστοτέλης σκορπίους καὶ σκορπίδας ἐν διαφόροις τόποις ὀνομάζει. ἄδηλον δὲ εἰ τοὺς αὐτοὺς λέγει· ὅτι καὶ σκόρπαιναν καὶ σκορπίους πολλάκις ἡμεῖς ἐφάγομεν καὶ διάφοροι καὶ οἱ χυμοὶ καὶ αἱ χρόαι εἰσὶν οὐδεὶς ἀγνοεῖ. δʼ ὀψαρτυτὴς Ἀρχέστρατος ἐν τοῖς χρυσοῖς ἔπεσι λέγει· ἐν δὲ Θάσῳ τὸν σκορπίον ὠνοῦ, ἐὰν μὴ μείζων πυγόνος· μεγάλου δʼ ἀπὸ χεῖρας ἴαλλε.

The syntax of the URNs follows the specification of the CITE Architecture.
