τραγικὸν γὰρ φακῆ ʼστιν, Ἀρχάγαθος ἔφη ποτὲ γεγραφέναι ῥοφοῦντʼ Ὀρέστην τῆς νόσου πεπαυμένον, φησὶ Σώφιλος κωμῳδιοποιός στωικὸν δὲ δόγμα ἐστὶν ὅτι τε πάντα εὖ ποιήσει σοφὸς καὶ φακῆν φρονίμως ἀρτύσει. διὸ καὶ Τίμων Φλιάσιος ἔφη· καὶ Ζηνώνειόν γε φακῆν ἕψειν ὃς μὴ φρονίμως μεμάθηκεν, ὡς οὐκ ἄλλως δυναμένης ἑψηθῆναι φακῆς εἰ μὴ κατὰ τὴν Ζηνώνειον ὑφήγησιν, ὃς ἔφη· εἰς δὲ φακῆν ἔμβαλλε δυωδέκατον κοριάννου. καὶ Κράτης δʼ Θηβαῖος ἔλεγεν· μὴ πρὸ φακῆς λοπάδʼ αὔξων εἰς στάσιν ἄμμε βάλῃς, Χρύσιππός τε ἐν τῷ περὶ τοῦ καλοῦ γνώμας τινὰς ἡμῖν εἰσφέρων φησί· μηδέποτʼ ἐλαίαν ἔσθιʼ, ἀκαλήφην ἔχων. χειμῶνος ὥρᾳ βολβοφακῆν, βαβαί, βαβαί. βολβοφακῆ δʼ οἷον ἀμβροσίη ψύχους κρυόεντος. χαρίεις τε Ἀριστοφάνης ἐν Γηρυτάδῃ ἔφη· πτισάνην διδάσκεις αὐτὸν ἕψειν φακῆν. καὶ ἐν Ἀμφιαράῳ· ὅστις φακῆν ἥδιστον ὄψων λοιδορεῖς. Ἐπίχαρμος δʼ ἐν Διονύσοις· χύτρα δὲ φακέας ἥψετο. CTS URN Retriever

The Digital Athenaeus is providing the text of the Teubner edition of the Deipnosophists by Georg Kaibel (1887-1890), which is cataloged as perseus-grc2 in the Perseus Catalog.

The syntax of the URNs follows the specification of the CITE Architecture.
