περὶ δὲ τῶν ΚΑΡΙΔΩΝ, ὅτι καὶ πόλις ἦν Καρίδες περὶ Χίον τὴν νῆσον Ἔφορος ἐν τῇ γʹ ἱστορεῖ, κτίσαι φάσκων αὐτὴν τοὺς διασωθέντας ἐκ τοῦ ἐπὶ Δευκαλίωνος γενομένου κατακλυσμοῦ μετὰ Μάκαρος, καὶ μέχρι νῦν τὸν τόπον καλεῖσθαι Καρίδας. δὲ ὀψοδαίδαλος Ἀρχέστρατος παραινεῖ τάδε· ἢν δέ ποτʼ εἰς Ἴασον Καρῶν πόλιν εἰσαφίκηαι, καρῖδʼ εὐμεγέθη λήψῃ· σπανία δὲ πρίασθαι· ἐν δὲ Μακηδονίᾳ τε καὶ Ἀμβρακίᾳ μάλα πολλαί. ἐκτεταμένως δʼ εἴρηκε καρῖδα Ἀραρὼς μὲν ἐν Καμπυλίωνι· αἵ τε καμπύλαι καρῖδες ἐξήλλοντο δελφίνων δίκην εἰς σχοινόπλεκτον ἄγγος. καὶ Εὔβουλος ἐν Ὀρθάννῃ· καρῖδα καθηκατω κἀνέσπασʼ αὖθις. Ἀναξανδρίδης Λυκούργῳ· καὶ συμπαίζει καριδαρίοις μετὰ περκιδίων καὶ θρᾳττιδίων καὶ ψητταρίοις μετὰ κωθαρίων καὶ σκινδαρίοις μετὰ κωβιδίων. δʼ αὐτὸς κἀν Πανδάρῳ φησίν· οὐκ ἐπικεκυφὼς ὀρθός, βέλτιστʼ, ἔσῃ· αὕτη δὲ καριδοι τὸ σῶμα καμπύλη, ἄγκυρά τʼ ἐστὶν ἄντικρυς τοῦ σώματος. ἐν δὲ Κερκίῳ· ἐρυθρότερον καρῖδος ὀπτῆς σʼ ἀποφανῶ. Εὔβουλος Τιτθαῖς καρῖδάς τε τῶν κυφῶν. καὶ Ὠφελίων Καλλαίσχρῳ· κυρταὶ δʼ ὁμοῦ καρῖδες ἐν ξηρῷ πέδω. καὶ ἐν Ἰαλέμῳ· ὠρχοῦντο δʼ ὡς καρῖδες ἀνθράκων ἔπι πηδῶσι κυρταί. συνεσταλμένως δʼ εἴρηκεν Εὔπολις ἐν Αἰξὶν οὕτως· πλὴν ἅπαξ ποτʼ ἐν Φαίακος ἔφαγον καρίδας. καὶ ἐν Δήμοις· ἔχων τὸ πρόσωπον καρίδος μασθλητίνης.

The syntax of the URNs follows the specification of the CITE Architecture.
