καὶ παρʼ Ἀντιφάνει δʼ ἐν Στρατιώτῃ Τύχωνι παραινέσεις εἰσφέρων ἄνθρωπος τοιοῦτός ἐστιν, ὅς φησιν· ὅστις ἄνθρωπος δὲ φὺς ἀσφαλές τι κτῆμʼ ὑπάρχειν τῷ βίῳ λογίζεται, πλεῖστον ἡμάρτηκεν. γὰρ εἰσφορά τις ἥρπασεν τἄνδοθεν πάντʼ δίκῃ τις περιπεσὼν ἀπώλετο στρατηγήσας προσῶφλεν χορηγὸς αἱρεθεὶς ἱμάτια χρυσᾶ παρασχὼν τῷ χορῷ ῥάκος φορεῖ τριηραρχῶν ἀπήγξατʼ πλέων ἥλωκέ ποι βαδίζων καθεύδων κατακέκοφθʼ ὑπʼ οἰκετῶν. οὐ βέβαιον οὐθέν ἐστι, πλὴν ὅσʼ ἂν καθʼ ἡμέραν εἰς ἑαυτὸν ἡδέως τις εἰσαναλίσκων τύχῃ, οὐδὲ ταῦτα σφόδρα τι· καὶ γὰρ τὴν τράπεζαν ἁρπάσαι κειμένην ἄν τις προσελθών· ἀλλʼ ὅταν τὴν ἔνθεσιν ἐντὸς ἤδη τῶν ὀδόντων τυγχάνῃς κατεσπακώς, τοῦτʼ ἐν ἀσφαλεῖ νόμιζε τῶν ὑπαρχόντων μόνον. τὰ αὐτὰ εἴρηκε καὶ ἐν Ὑδρίᾳ.

CTS URN Retriever

The Digital Athenaeus is providing the text of the Teubner edition of the Deipnosophists by Georg Kaibel (1887-1890), which is cataloged as perseus-grc2 in the Perseus Catalog.

The syntax of the URNs follows the specification of the CITE Architecture.
