ΡΟΩΝ. ... δὲ σκληροκόκκων. τῶν γὰρ ἀπυρήνων Ἀριστοφάνης ἐν Γεωργοῖς μνημονεύει. καὶ ἐν Ἀναγύρῳ· πλὴν ἀλεύρου καὶ ῥόας. καὶ ἐν Γηρυτάδῃ Ἕρμιππος δʼ ἐν Κέρκωψί φησιν· ἤδη τεθέασαι κόκκον ἐν χιόνι ῥόας; (ῥοίδιον μέντοι ὡς βοίδιον τὸ ὑποκοριστικόν.) Ἀντιφάνης ἐν Βοιωτίᾳ· ἐνεγκεῖν ἐξ ἀγροῦ μοι τῶν ῥοιῶν τῶν σκληροκόκκων. Ἐπίλυκος Κωραλίσκῳ· μῆλα καὶ ῥόας λέγεις. Ἄλεξις Μνηστῆρσιν· ῥόαν γὰρ ἐκ τῆς χειρὸς αὐτῶν ... σίδας δʼ ὅτι τὰς ῥοιὰς καλοῦσι Βοιωτοὶ Ἀγαθαρχίδης ἐν τῇ ἐννεακαιδεκάτῃ τῶν Εὐρωπιακῶν οὕτως γράφει· ἀμφισβητούντων Ἀθηναίων πρὸς Βοιωτοὺς περὶ τῆς χώρας ἣν καλοῦσι Σίδας, Ἐπαμινώνδας δικαιολογούμενος ἐξαίφνης ἐκ τῆς ἀριστερᾶς μεταλαβὼν κεκρυμμένην ῥόαν καὶ δείξας ἤρετο τί καλοῦσι τοῦτο. τῶν δʼ εἰπόντων ῥόαν, ἀλλʼ ἡμεῖς, εἶπε, σίδαν (ὁ δὲ τόπος τοῦτʼ ἔχει τὸ φυτὸν ἐν αὑτῷ πλεῖστον, ἀφʼ οὗ τὴν ἐξ ἀρχῆς εἴληφε προσηγορίαν) καὶ ἐνίκησεν. The Digital Athenaeus is providing the text of the Teubner edition of the Deipnosophists by Georg Kaibel (1887-1890), which is cataloged as perseus-grc2 in the Perseus Catalog.

The syntax of the URNs follows the specification of the CITE Architecture.
